Responsibilities:

• Beverage Preparation:
• Prepare a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Applebee's recipes and standards.
• Demonstrate proficiency in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks with precision and creativity.
• Ensure the bar is well-stocked with ingredients, garnishes, and supplies.
• Customer Service:
• Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Provide attentive and personalized service, making recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Engage with customers to create a positive and memorable experience.
• Order Processing:
• Take and process drink orders accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash and electronic transactions, providing correct change and receipts.
• Manage multiple orders simultaneously during peak business hours.
• Cleanliness and Organization:
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
• Adhere to sanitation and safety standards, ensuring a hygienic work environment.
• Dispose of waste and recycling properly.
• Team Collaboration:
• Coordinate with kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to fulfill customer requests.
• Assist in restocking inventory and maintaining par levels.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or bar setting.
2. Extensive knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage presentation.
3. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
4. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and handle high-stress situations.
5. Familiarity with cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
6. TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) certification is a plus.
